While this isn’t really a recipe, I wanted to share one of my most favorite baking secrets – the piping bag. This sucker can make any box cupcake/tub of icing look like you picked it up at one of the fancy cupcake stores. It is so easy to use, and gives any cake or cupcake that professional bakery touch.
Place the piping tip of your choice in the corner of a bag, and make a small cut so the piping tip has poked through the plastic bag. Fill with the icing of your choice, and slowly pipe onto the cake or cupcake. One more tip – this is amazing for deviled eggs! You get a much more even filling, and it looks so much prettier!
