The genius that gave me the Beer Bread recipe also taught me this gem. I would describe this as an elevated Shrimp Scampi. It is absolutely backed with garlicy-lemony goodness, and when you dip in that buttery thick Beer Bread – YUM.
Ingredients
1 lb 25-30 count Raw Shrimp with Tails & Shells
3 tbsp Minced Garlic (about 5 cloves)
1 large Lemon, zested then sliced
1 stick Unsalted Butter
1 tsp Salt
½ tsp Black Pepper
¼ tsp Red Pepper Flakes
Take a large skillet, and melt the butter over medium/high heat. Meanwhile, chop the garlic and zest the lemon, then slice it roughly ¼ inch thick. Once the butter is melted, toss in the garlic and lemon zest and stir until fragrant (about 1 minute). Add in the rest of the ingredients and stir. Place the skillet in a 350° for 10 minutes, stirring halfway through to ensure all shrimp are evenly coated with the butter and garlic. Serve with Beer Bread and enjoy!
